About BlockCommmunity

General information and history

BlockCommunity is a project aiming to create a 3D multiplayer sandbox game extensible with Lua, supported by a community site with features such as asset sharing, clans/groups, a collaborative wiki and a discussion forum. BlockCommunity was created in July 2009, over 2 years ago, with a website launched in September 2009. Since then, we've progressed a lot with ideas, comments and feedback from various users and staff, and lost and gained staff and users.

Our staff

We have 14 staff members located in different places and timezones in the United States and United Kingdom. BlockCommunity does not have a single physical address or office. We have 2 main classes of staff: moderators, who police the site to keep it clean and civil, and administrators, who work on the website or game. Moderators should adhere to our moderation policy, which may differ from your thoughts and opinions. All users must agree to follow our rules, which will only be updated with 3 days' notice.
